The "Crash"

Pretty much the reverse concept of the "Rocket". Sell short instead of buying at the open and cover at the next open.

Here is the Stockfetcher filter:

show stocks where count(RSI(2) 2 day ago below 10,60) is above 0
and RSI(2) is above 90
and average volume(10) above 250000
and close one day ago more than 10% above close 2 day ago
and close more then 5% above close 1 day ago
and 60 day slope of close is below 0
and close above 0.99
and market is not OTCBB

The "Rocket"

As posted by Stock Monster, here's the concept for this screen:

This screen looks for severely oversold stocks and tries to catch the bounce for one day after some "panic" selling. The reason these stocks "pop" is because of panic selling for 2 days straight. Sort of like a "dead cat bounce" screen. I get the result every night around 6pm and will post it ASAP.

The rule is to buy the stock (market order) at the open and keep until the following day's open.

Here is the Stockfetcher filter:

show stocks where count(RSI(2) 2 day ago above 90,60) is above 0
and RSI(2) is below 20
and average volume(10) above 250000
and close one day ago more than 8% below close 2 day ago
and close more than 4% below close 1 day ago
and close above 0.99
and 60 day slope of close is above 0
and market is not otcbb

Introduction

Hello everyone. In this blog, I'll be posting up the "Rocket" and "Crash" stock picks. These two stock screens were created originally by Stock Monster, who took a rest from blogging. I've looked at his progress and it seems to be very profitable. Along with posting up the stock plays for upcoming trading days, I'll be using a simulation account at Investopedia (starting with $10,000) to purchase these picks.

Both stock screens are meant to be held for a 24-hour period and to serve the short-term trader.

They are posted according to technical analysis and last minute company and market events can affect expected results.

Disclaimer: DO NOT CONSIDER THESE POSTS AS SUGGESTIONS OR THE ADVICE OF A STOCKBROKER. THEY ARE HERE FOR ALL TO SEE THE RESULTS OF A STOCK FILTER. USE YOUR OWN KNOWLEDGE AND REFERENCES BEFORE TRADING BASED ON THESE RESULTS. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS BASED ON THE POSTS ON THIS BLOG.
